But nowadays it easier for most people to take the fish out of the freezer and fry it on the stove, instead of catching it themself and preparing it on open fire. For those who are interested in these simple methods in order to cook their meal on their next hike over a crackling fire, can learn them in our course. Besides that you will take a peak into the delicious world of wild herbs to give your meal that special touch of wildnerness. 

Course content

  • How does a proper cooking fire look like (wood, fire place, utensils)
  • production and usage of fire cooking utensils
  • preparation of different food on open fire (fish, meat, vegetables, bakeries)
  • introduction into the world of edible plants
